Duties & Responsibilities- Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control policies.
- Dust and damp mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are free from dirt and debris.
- Move equipment and furniture to facilitate thorough cleaning, returning items to correct placement afterward.
- Clean assigned areas with designated cleaning products and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces according to established protocols.
- Follow the eight-step cleaning procedure for consistent and effective cleaning outcomes.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to maintain a clean, safe facility for all users.
- Proactively identify areas that require cleaning and take initiative to address them promptly.
- Complete all tasks and assignments from supervisors efficiently and to standard.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and county guidelines, ensuring compliance and safety in all cleaning activities.
- Perform floor care tasks such as stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet shampooing as required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by exhibiting professionalism and respect toward colleagues, customers, and others.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall facility operations.
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $16.50 to $18.00, in line with industry standards for janitorial roles.
