Janitor - SummaryAs a Janitor, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that the facility remains in pristine condition. You will carry out heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties & Responsibilities- Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dust and damp mop floors, ensuring thorough cleanliness and adherence to established cleaning methods
- Move equipment and furniture as needed for proper cleaning and return items to their correct placement
- Clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized
- Follow the eight-step cleaning procedure meticulously to maintain consistency and high standards
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to uphold a clean and safe environment
- Identify areas that require cleaning and take proactive steps to address them
- Complete all tasks as assigned by the supervisor in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform cleaning tasks in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and county guidelines
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors as necessary; shampoo carpets to maintain overall appearance
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment, demonstrating professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the facility
- Competitive hourly wage, with minimum wages starting at $16.50–$18.00 per hour
