Janitor - Summary- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within assigned facilities
- Performs heavy cleaning duties, including floor care, surface sanitation, and rubbish removal
- Supports a safe and welcoming environment for all facility occupants
- Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dust and damp mop floors following specific cleaning protocols
- Move equipment and furniture for thorough cleaning; return furnishings to correct placement
- Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces
- Follow the eight-step cleaning procedure to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items as required
- Identify areas that require cleaning and proactively address them
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor in a timely manner
- Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations
- Perform floor care including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing; shampoo carpets as needed
- Collaborate with team members and exhibit professionalism at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Competitive hourly wage (Minimum wage: $16.50-$18.00 per hour)
