IT Systems Engineer (Level III) - Summary
- Provide advanced technical support and project management for IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
- Design, configure, and deploy solutions that align with client business requirements.
- Act as a technical resource for internal teams and external clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute project management tasks, including regular updates to clients and management, and develop effective remediation plans.
- Configure and deploy servers with a focus on advanced Active Directory management and security best practices.
- Design, build, and extend secure networks with minimal supervision, ensuring robust network and security configurations.
- Optimize and maintain network software and hardware to guarantee peak performance and security compliance.
- Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions across companywide environments with 50 or more endpoints.
- Lead mini-projects independently, such as server builds, network rollouts, and MDM implementations.
- Deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions tailored to business needs.
- Configure and manage Voice over IP (VOIP) solutions to enhance business communications.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange Server environments, ensuring reliable email and collaboration services.
- Facilitate seamless new user onboarding processes, including account setup and access management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange servers, and Active Directory.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering, with proven ability to understand and address client business and technology challenges.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working directly with clients at a business level.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience drafting proposals and implementing technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, professionalism, reliability, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Sales training experience and prior work in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment are desirable.
