IT Support Specialist (ITSS) - Summary
- Provide dedicated technical support for end-users, focusing on Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
- Support and monitor the company's hybrid IT environment, ensuring dependable and secure system operations.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to execute IT improvement projects and initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with strict regulatory standards, including HIPAA, in all IT-related activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate IT projects by managing stakeholders, defining tasks, setting deadlines, and tracking progress toward measurable outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 technical issues, escalating more complex problems to IT contractors as needed.
- Deliver training and support to staff for optimal use of Microsoft 365 tools, increasing efficiency and user adoption.
- Monitor network access and security protocols to enhance protection of ePHI and overall data integrity.
- Document recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures for both end-users and IT staff.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to all end-users, ensuring a positive IT experience.
- Support inventory management and tracking of IT assets to maintain organizational readiness and compliance.
- Consistently adhere to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies in all IT operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience providing IT support, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
- Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- MS365 certifications are a plus and may enhance candidacy.
