We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist (also known as IT Technician or Help Desk Specialist) to join our dynamic team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering top-tier technical support and ensuring seamless technology operations within a professional environment. The IT Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in setting up, configuring, and deploying computers, printers, and peripheral devices to maintain the smooth functioning of all workplace technology.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line helpdesk support to staff members, addressing a variety of hardware, software, and connectivity concerns. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving common technical issues and escalating more complex matters to our external Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) teams. You will also serve as the on-site liaison, facilitating remote diagnosis and issue resolution, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to all technical challenges.

Key responsibilities include managing IT asset inventory, tracking equipment, and maintaining proper documentation to support internal processes. You will coordinate closely with the MSP team regarding scheduled maintenance, system patching, and hardware replacement cycles, supporting the ongoing reliability and security of our IT infrastructure. Additionally, you will assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that new and departing employees have the necessary access, equipment, and support throughout their transitions.

The IT Support Specialist position requires hands-on involvement in supporting cabling, hardware relocations, and physical infrastructure projects as directed by management. You will also be expected to undertake additional operational or administrative tasks as assigned, making this a varied and engaging role with opportunities for ongoing growth and development.

Candidates should bring at least three years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, demonstrating proficiency with Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing, Wi-Fi setup, and printer management is essential. Experience with computer imaging and deployment tools will be highly valued, as will strong communication skills and a professional, reliable attitude.

The ideal IT Support Specialist will be capable of working independently on-site with minimal supervision and will approach each challenge with a solution-oriented mindset. While not required, a CompTIA A+ certification will be considered a significant asset and is encouraged for applicants aiming to distinguish themselves in this competitive field.
