Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support, including discovery meetings, site assessments, proposal development, presentations, and ongoing technical account management.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design and implement local area networks (LAN), optimizing network layout and performance according to client needs.
- Monitor and enhance network security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding sensitive data.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize network hardware and software components, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Build, configure, and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Set up and manage Voice over IP (VOIP) solutions, enabling seamless communication across client organizations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network infrastructure issues, utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments, ensuring reliable email service for clients.
- Support and configure business telephone solutions, integrating them with existing IT infrastructure as needed.
- Monitor alert systems and promptly respond according to established guidelines, minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Interpret event logs and system messages to diagnose issues and implement repairs effectively.
- Handle escalated service requests requiring a higher level of technical expertise and critical thinking.
- Facilitate new user onboarding processes, setting up accounts and access rights in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
- Demonstrated experience in a managed service provider (MSP) environment is required.
- 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role such as sales engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients at a business level regarding technology solutions and challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proven experience in creating proposals for and implementing technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Self-motivated, professional, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Deep understanding of business productivity systems and modern technology platforms.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and multitasking skills.
- Sales training experience is an added advantage.
