IT Support Specialist II (MSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide end-user assistance for a variety of technical issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Windows Desktop-related support matters.
- Assist with Windows Server 2016 and 2019 administration and troubleshooting.
- Monitor alert systems, analyze event logs, and perform repairs in accordance with established guidelines.
- Receive and address escalated service requests requiring advanced technical expertise.
- Coordinate and execute new user onboarding processes.
- Install, configure, and support network services and equipment, including LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Provide support for network hardware installation and maintenance.
- Assist with physical security and facility systems such as door card access, wander guard, lighting, and HVAC controls.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years in roles such as IT help desk, desktop support, IT support analyst, or IT service management.
- Proven background in network and firewall administration, specifically with SonicWall and Meraki devices.
- Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) experience using tools such as NinjaOne, ConnectWise, Kaseya, or DattoRMM.
- Professional Services Automation (PSA) ticketing experience with Autotask or ConnectWise is highly desirable.
- Basic to intermediate troubleshooting knowledge across network, server, and workstation environments.
- Strong customer service orientation with a courteous, tactful, and professional approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to groups.
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the organization.
