IT Support Specialist II (MSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including attending discovery meetings, conducting site visits, and assisting with proposals and presentations
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory environments
- Design and implement Local Area Networks (LANs) for business clients
- Implement and monitor network security protocols
- Optimize and maintain both network hardware and software to ensure peak performance
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions tailored to client needs
- Configure and deploy VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) solutions
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and resolve escalated service requests
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments
- Support telephone solutions and new user onboarding processes
- Monitor alert systems and respond according to established guidelines
- Utilize event logs to diagnose and repair system issues efficiently
- Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing technical support or sales engineering role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Demonstrated experience writing technical proposals and implementing solutions to meet business needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing professionalism and reliability
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools such as Kaseya, Connectwise, or Ninja is a plus
- Experience with PSA (Professional Services Automation) or ticketing systems, e.g., Autotask or Connectwise, is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Experience in MSP environments highly preferred
