IT Support Specialist II - Summary
- Serve as a key technical resource supporting IT infrastructure solutions for clients.
- Provide technical assessment, implementation, and ongoing support services.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and tailor technology solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with sales teams to deliver pre- and post-sales technical support, including site visits, proposals, presentations, and technical assessments.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and related services.
- Design, implement, and support Local Area Networks and network security solutions.
- Optimize and maintain network software and hardware, ensuring stable operations.
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Configure and implement VOIP and telephone solutions.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues, using event logs and alert systems to identify and resolve problems.
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
- Respond effectively to escalated service requests requiring advanced technical knowledge.
- Facilitate new user onboarding and ensure seamless technology integration.
- Monitor alert systems and follow established protocols for remediation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing, technical support, or sales engineering role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and issue resolution.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience writing proposals and implementing technical solutions for business needs.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with business productivity systems and technology best practices.
- Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools is a plus.
- Sales training experience and prior work in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment are highly valued.
