IT Support Specialist - Summary
- Provide expert technical support for desktop systems, network devices, and audio-visual equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver frontline desktop support, assisting users with hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conference rooms, including all audio-visual and network equipment.
- Engage directly with end users to understand and resolve technical problems, ensuring a positive experience.
- Document technical solutions and share insights with team members to foster continuous improvement.
- Follow established IT processes and standards to maintain system integrity and security.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to address complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports on ticket status and recurring issues to IT management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a related IT field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in desktop support or similar technical support role.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting network, desktop, and audio-visual equipment issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective end-user support.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in government or Department of Defense (DoD) settings is a plus.
