IT Support Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop systems support analysts and engineers to ensure high-performance team operations.
- Oversee advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Manage daily workload, prioritize support activities, and deliver timely, accurate service for enterprise applications and systems.
- Establish best practices, create and maintain technical documentation, and develop procedures for efficient support operations.
- Drive lifecycle management for enterprise systems—including testing, configuration, and implementation of system enhancements and updates.
- Proactively monitor system performance and reliability, addressing potential risks and issues before they impact business or patient service.
- Coordinate application and infrastructure patches, upgrades, and system changes in alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective IT solutions and workflows.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), workflow development, and change management for system enhancements.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulatory and operational standards in a healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role overseeing advanced support teams.
- Strong technical experience with API integrations, web applications, and enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and experience working with service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, regulated environment with multiple competing priorities.
Ideal Candidate Snapshot
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification (preferred).
- CompTIA Server+ or Network+ certification (preferred).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate credential (preferred).
- Experience supporting healthcare or pharmacy-related systems is a plus.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential is a bonus, but not required.
