IT Support Engineer (MSP, Level III) – Summary
- Full-time position focused on delivering technical support and solutions as part of a managed services provider (MSP).
- Involves both pre- and post-sales technical support, including discovery meetings, site visits, technical proposals, and ongoing account management.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during discovery meetings, site visits, and presentations.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, assessments, and implementation plans tailored to client needs.
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
- Design, implement, and optimize Local Area Networks (LANs).
- Implement and monitor network security measures to safeguard client infrastructure.
- Maintain and optimize network software and hardware components.
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions to enhance client productivity.
- Configure and deploy VoIP solutions and telephone systems.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure and resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
- Monitor alert systems and respond according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Analyze event logs and system messages to identify and resolve system errors.
- Manage escalated service requests that require advanced technical intervention.
- Facilitate new user onboarding and support account management processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
- Direct experience working in a managed service provider (MSP) environment is required.
- At least three years of experience in a client-facing technical or sales engineering role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with clients at a business level.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Proven experience in proposal writing and implementing technical solutions to fulfill business requirements.
- Professional, reliable, results-driven, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Thorough understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools such as Kaseya or ConnectWise is a plus.
- Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools such as Autotask or ConnectWise is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service orientation, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Sales training experience is a plus.
