IT Support Engineer (MSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including client meetings, site assessments, proposals, and presentations
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
- Design, implement, and maintain secure Local Area Networks (LANs)
- Oversee network security, optimize network software and hardware performance, and manage network troubleshooting
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions
- Configure and deploy VOIP and telephone solutions
- Monitor alert systems, respond to escalated service requests, and perform event log analysis for effective repairs
- Support new user onboarding and ongoing technical account management
- Utilize RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools for proactive client support

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment, Windows servers, Exchange server, and Active Directory
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing or sales engineering environment
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients and team members
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Experience writing technical proposals and implementing business solutions
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Solid understanding of business productivity systems and RMM tools
- High-level problem-solving aptitudes and exceptional customer service skills
- Previous experience in an MSP environment is highly preferred
