As an IT Support Engineer (Level III), you will be responsible for advanced network administration, deploying and managing Windows Servers and Active Directory, and providing expert support for Microsoft Exchange Server. A core aspect of this role is your ability to work closely with sales teams, participating in both pre- and post-sales processes such as technical assessments, proposals, site visits, and solution presentations. You will also play a pivotal part in designing local area networks, implementing network security measures, troubleshooting network infrastructure, managing VOIP and telephone solutions, and supporting cloud computing initiatives.
Your day-to-day activities will also include optimizing network software and hardware, handling escalated service requests, monitoring alert systems, and onboarding new users. IT Support Engineer (Level III) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams for pre- and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site visits, technical assessments, and solution presentations
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory environments
- Design and implement local area networks (LANs)
- Implement and monitor network security protocols
- Optimize and maintain network software and hardware systems
- Build, deploy, and manage file servers and cloud computing solutions
- Configure and deploy VOIP and telephone solutions
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure and perform root cause analysis
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments
- Monitor alert systems and respond according to established guidelines
- Utilize event logs to diagnose and resolve issues
- Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced technical response
- Support new user onboarding processes

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience with networking equipment, Windows servers/workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory
- At least 3 years in a client-facing technical environment, such as sales engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for business-level client interactions
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Experience preparing technical proposals and implementing business solutions
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work well within a team
- Solid knowledge of technology and business productivity systems
- Familiarity with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools is a plus
- Superior customer service, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Sales training experience and prior work in an MSP environment are advantages
