IT Support Engineer III (Network Specialist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to offer pre- and post-sales technical assistance, including discovery meetings, site visits, and technical presentations.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Design, implement, and secure Local Area Networks (LANs) and network infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain network security standards, performing proactive risk assessments and updates.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments.
- Configure and deploy file servers, cloud-based computing solutions, and VOIP systems.
- Troubleshoot complex network infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions for escalated service requests.
- Oversee new user onboarding processes and manage associated technical requirements.
- Utilize remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools to track system performance and respond to alerts as needed.
- Document technical solutions, proposals, and implementation plans for client-facing projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering or technical consulting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss business and technical topics effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills, time-management abilities, and attention to detail.
- Experience in writing technical proposals and implementing IT solutions to fulfill business objectives.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with business productivity systems and a strong understanding of modern IT technologies.
- Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools is a plus.
- Sales training experience is advantageous.
- Previous work in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly valued.
