IT Support Engineer III (MSP) - Summary
- Full-time position with a leading IT Solutions Company based in Bellevue, WA
- Core responsibilities include advanced technical support, systems deployment, and account management in a managed services provider (MSP) environment
- Work closely with sales and client teams to deliver technology solutions that align with business needs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre- and post-sales technical support, including discovery meetings, technical assessments, proposals, and presentations
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and network infrastructure
- Design and implement Local Area Networks (LANs) and network security protocols
- Optimize and maintain both network software and hardware for reliability and performance
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions
- Configure, deploy, and manage VOIP solutions and telephone systems
- Monitor alert systems and take appropriate actions according to established guidelines
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and resolve escalated service requests
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Server and related messaging systems
- Assist with new user onboarding and configuration of accounts and devices
- Document all support activities thoroughly, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of service

Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers/workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging with clients on business and technical issues
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience preparing proposals and implementing technical solutions to address business needs
- Proven ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of business productivity systems and technology solutions
- Experience with RMM tools (e.g., Kaseya, ConnectWise) and PSA/ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask, ConnectWise) is a plus
- Sales training experience is advantageous
- Previous experience in an MSP environment highly desirable
