IT Staging Technician - Summary
- Responsible for preparing, testing, and configuring electronic devices for deployment.
- Ensures all devices meet customer specifications and are ready for shipment.
- Serves as a key member of the technology deployment team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect devices for shipping damage and assess functionality prior to processing.
- Test, charge, and replace battery units as needed for optimal device performance.
- Load and configure network settings according to customer specifications and order details.
- Install and configure software programs as directed by project requirements.
- Upgrade software and firmware on devices to ensure they are up to date.
- Document and communicate any device or system issues with project leads.
- Repackage and label completed items for shipment in accordance with order requirements.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Ensure proper device handling and storage to prevent damage during processing and shipping.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify that all devices meet required specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate more complex problems to technical support teams as necessary.
- Assist with device setup, including peripherals and accessories, as required for deployment.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
