Senior IT Business Analyst - Summary
As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will lead complex analysis initiatives involving multi-system integrations, workflow automation, and the implementation of large-scale projects. The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for creating detailed functional documentation, developing data mapping specifications, and ensuring the accuracy of data through validation activities. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, playing a pivotal part in the success of technology-driven business solutions. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the business analysis discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex, cross-functional analysis projects with a focus on healthcare technology solutions.
- Drive comprehensive requirements gathering sessions and document detailed functional and business requirements for new and existing systems.
- Develop, maintain, and review data mapping specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough data validation using analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent solutions.
- Ensure full traceability of requirements throughout the project life cycle, including the oversight of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Coordinate and facilitate issue resolution by working with technical and business teams.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth within the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis standards, templates, and best practices within the organization.
