IT Security Engineer (MSP) - Summary- Full-time position with a leading managed services provider
- Focus on architecting, deploying, and managing secure IT solutions for diverse clients

- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including discovery, proposals, presentations, and on-site visits
- Architect and deploy routers, switches, managed switches, and firewalls to ensure robust network security
- Implement and monitor network security for client environments
- Deploy and manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Exchange Server
- Design, optimize, and maintain LAN infrastructure and network hardware/software
- Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions tailored to client requirements
- Configure and deploy VOIP solutions and manage ongoing performance
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure and resolve escalated service requests
- Oversee new user onboarding processes
- Monitor alert systems and take appropriate action based on established guidelines
- Provide ongoing technical account management and support for client projects

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing, sales engineering, or technical consulting role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at the business level
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience writing technical proposals and implementing business-driven IT solutions
- Self-motivated, reliable, results-driven, and an effective team player
- Solid understanding of business productivity systems and technology solutions
- Experience with RMM tools (e.g., Kaseya, Connectwise) and PSA/ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask, Connectwise) is a plus
- Ability to provide extraordinary customer service, problem-solve at a high level, and multi-task efficiently
- Sales training experience and prior work in an MSP environment are preferred
- Holds certifications such as CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, or CCNA/CCIE
- Proven experience in managed services or IT solutions environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in network security, server management, and client support
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
