IT Sales Representative Position Overview
ARC Group is seeking an experienced IT Sales Representative for a full-time opportunity supporting our client in the Big Data sector. This position is hybrid/remote, with some in-person meetings in the Greater Philadelphia, PA area. As an IT Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and expanding sales opportunities within the North American IT hardware and solutions market. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven track record in enterprise-level IT component sales and established industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities throughout North America, focusing on IT hardware, memory, and storage solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, including enterprise organizations and system integrators.
- Promote and sell a comprehensive portfolio of IT products and solutions, emphasizing OEM memory and storage components.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding process and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market developments to proactively identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT hardware, component, or solutions sales at the enterprise level.
- Demonstrated success working with value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and distributors.
- Strong experience selling OEM IT components from vendors such as Apacer, Crucial, Dell, HPE, Kingston, Kioxia, Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for success in the IT Sales Representative role.
- Comprehensive understanding of B2B IT services, infrastructure solutions, and the overall IT ecosystem.
