IT Project Manager (PMP) - Summary
- Lead and manage large-scale technology infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead technology infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closure.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT departments, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions that meet organizational requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth integration of new systems and technologies.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Document project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead VoIP migration projects, including the transition to cloud-based phone systems.
- Oversee network infrastructure initiatives such as neighborhood Wi-Fi access projects.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' experience managing large technology infrastructure projects within a PMO environment.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Expertise in cloud-hosted VoIP solutions, including platforms such as Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Webex, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, and 8x8.
- Strong knowledge of wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E, WLAN controllers) and wireline systems, including structured cabling standards, fiber, and copper technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting VoIP system migrations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
