The IT Infrastructure Manager (sometimes referred to as ITIM) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the enterprise server infrastructure of an organization. As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring the stability, security, and availability of core physical and virtual server systems, along with associated storage and virtualization platforms. This role is integral to maintaining seamless business operations and supporting critical technology initiatives. Working as an IT Infrastructure Manager in Nashville, TN, you will be tasked with managing a team of 14 professionals, including 6 direct reports, and be responsible for the continuous operation of the organization’s server environment. You will serve as a bridge between technical teams and executive leadership, reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team. Your focus will be on strategic infrastructure planning, optimizing performance, and reducing operational risks, while ensuring compliance with service-level objectives and industry best practices.
Your expertise in ITIL service operations—encompassing Incident, Problem, and Change Management—will be vital for effective service delivery. Leveraging your experience with advanced technologies such as Pure Storage, Dell PowerStore, Commvault, and Azure Cloud, you will guide enterprise-wide initiatives and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a proven track record in team leadership, and the ability to manage complex technical challenges through collaboration and clear accountability.

IT Infrastructure Manager - Summary- Lead the enterprise server infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and high availability.
- Manage a team of 14 IT professionals, including 6 direct reports.
- Drive strategic planning and execution for infrastructure projects and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
- Report directly to executive leadership and ensure compliance with service-level and security objectives.
- Oversee the management of physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, and SAN systems.
- Ensure 24/7 availability and security of enterprise systems.
- Develop, implement, and advance strategic infrastructure plans focused on performance optimization and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with different departments to support organizational technology needs and infrastructure projects.
- Manage lifecycle planning, infrastructure updates, and compliance with industry standards.
- Uphold ITIL best practices in Incident, Problem, and Change Management operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
