IT Help Desk Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests from employees through various channels, including phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and login issues for company devices and systems.
- Provision, configure, and set up IT equipment for new hires, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
- Assist users with device setup, access permissions, and system connectivity challenges.
- Install, configure, and update software applications on company endpoints.
- Perform basic network maintenance and support connectivity troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage, prioritize, and track help desk tickets to deliver timely technical resolutions.
- Conduct diagnostics and implement solutions for standard technical problems.
- Maintain and set up computer hardware, software, and network connections.
- Document support interactions, issue resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge management purposes.
- Generate standard and specialized IT reports based on organizational needs.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials, knowledge base articles, and help desk documentation.
- Follow up with employees to confirm complete resolution of issues.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Approximately 1 year of experience in an IT help desk or technical support position.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft 365 environments and Windows Enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management and permissions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
