IT Help Desk Support Specialist (MSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and effective end-user assistance for technical issues
- Serve as the main point of contact for Windows Desktop related problems, ensuring swift resolution
- Support Windows Server environments, including Windows 2016 and Windows 2019
- Monitor alert systems and respond according to established protocols
- Analyze event logs and messages to identify and repair system issues
- Manage escalated service requests that require advanced troubleshooting skills
- Facilitate new user onboarding, including account setup and access provisioning
- Assist with installation and maintenance of network services and equipment
- Provide LAN and WAN installation and ongoing support
- Install and support network hardware, ensuring optimal configuration and performance
- Support additional IT infrastructure such as door card access, wander guard, lighting, and HVAC systems

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience working with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) is required
- Minimum of three years in IT help desk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role
- Experience with Remote Management & Monitoring (RMM) tools such as Connectwise, Kaseya, or Ninja
- Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation) or ticketing systems like Autotask
- Background in network and firewall administration, specifically with Sonicwall and Meraki devices
- Strong troubleshooting skills for networks, servers, and workstations
- Excellent customer service orientation, with a professional and courteous approach
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow professionally
