This opportunity is suited for candidates who possess a keen attention to detail, technical proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, and a strong commitment to supporting end-users throughout the upgrade process. As an IT Deployment Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing hands-on upgrades of Windows 10 systems to Windows 11. Utilizing tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), you will execute and monitor deployment scripts, ensure each system meets post-deployment functionality standards, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after the upgrade. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate upgrade schedules that limit the impact on daily operations, particularly in healthcare and administrative environments. Documentation and reporting are critical components of this role, as you will be expected to maintain detailed records of upgrade statuses and recurring technical issues.

This position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of experience in IT support, systems deployment, or a related field. A foundational understanding of Windows operating systems, especially Windows 10 and 11, as well as direct experience with software or OS deployment using SCCM, are essential. Prior exposure to healthcare environments or HIPAA-compliant facilities is highly valued, as is the ability to coordinate technical projects in environments where uptime and confidentiality are paramount. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required to support travel needs associated with this role.
