IT Business Analyst (BA) / Scrum Master - Summary
- Hybrid position encompassing both Business Analyst and Scrum Master responsibilities
- Key liaison between business, technical, and marketing teams to ensure project alignment and delivery
- Focus on enterprise digital projects, including websites and digital marketing platforms
- Emphasis on Agile best practices, stakeholder communication, and backlog management
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to elicit, document, and translate business and technical requirements into actionable user stories
- Manage and maintain backlog systems (such as Azure DevOps), prioritizing and grooming stories for upcoming sprints
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT): plan, oversee execution, and track issues through resolution
- Prepare milestone updates and sprint summaries for both business and technical stakeholders
- Coordinate with business users for testing, feedback, and change management to ensure successful feature rollouts
- Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as a servant leader to the team, identifying and removing blockers to maintain delivery momentum
- Monitor sprint health, team velocity, and workflow, proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Champion Agile best practices and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Support the Product Owner in defining sprint goals and aligning with key stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a combined Business Analyst and Scrum Master role, preferably within digital or website development teams
- Hands-on experience with enterprise websites, digital marketing platforms, and CMS tools (such as Adobe Experience Manager)
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) best practices, SEO fundamentals, QA/testing workflows, and digital analytics
- Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proven ability to lead teams through Agile delivery cycles
- Proficiency with backlog and sprint management tools such as Azure DevOps
- Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PSM) is preferred
