IT Automation Engineer - Summary

- Create, schedule, and maintain automated tasks using enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Automation Engine, UC4, or AppWorx.
- Troubleshoot job failures and system issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and PowerShell scripts to enhance automation and generate accurate reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and implement workflow enhancements.
- Document automation procedures and maintain clear records of system configurations and changes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT or business operations, with proven expertise in enterprise environments.
- At least 2 years’ experience supporting production control or job scheduling in a professional setting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Automation Engine, UC4, or AppWorx.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL/T-SQL for database management and reporting.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system configuration.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
