iOS QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our remote team as an iOS QA Tester on a contract basis. Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability and functional testing of iOS applications across iPhone and iPad devices, evaluating how each app performs under various scenarios and on multiple iOS versions.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns that are specific to the iOS platform, maintaining clear and detailed records to support the development process.
- Collaborate closely with iOS app developers and project managers, providing actionable feedback and recommendations for improving app functionality, consistency, and user experience.
- Verify that all iOS applications adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and best practices, ensuring compliance with Apple's requirements prior to app store submission.
- Create and submit comprehensive reports on testing outcomes, highlighting key findings, areas of concern, and suggestions for improvement in iOS app performance and user interface.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow structured instructions and test plans precisely.
- Proficient with remote work tools and highly familiar with the iOS ecosystem, including various iPhone and iPad models, as well as different iOS versions.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or user testing for iOS applications is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
- Reliable internet connection and access to multiple iOS devices to ensure thorough and accurate testing across platforms.
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines is advantageous and will aid in providing valuable feedback to development teams.
