The core responsibility of the Inventory Clerk is to ensure that all materials and parts are sorted, stored, and distributed efficiently to support seamless production operations. Working alongside planners and production staff, you will help maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and ensure that materials are readily available for each job number as required.

In this Inventory Clerk role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying their accuracy, and placing them in designated storage locations. Order picking and timely distribution of materials to the production line form a significant part of your day-to-day tasks, ensuring that workflow remains uninterrupted. The role requires a keen attention to detail as you check for outstanding back-orders, fill them promptly, and document all transactions in the inventory management system.

To succeed as an Inventory Clerk, you should possess basic mathematical skills and be comfortable working with computers.
