Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Summary- Provides critical imaging and technical support during interventional radiology procedures
- Operates advanced radiologic equipment and assists physicians in minimally invasive therapies
- Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Works as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a dynamic clinical environment

- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient comfort
- Operate fluoroscopic, digital, and other radiologic equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Assist the interventional radiologist with sterile technique, equipment setup, and supply management
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, and equipment usage
- Monitor patients for signs of complications, promptly notifying the clinical team of any concerns
- Adhere to all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff

- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- State licensure as required
