Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech, ARRT) - Summary
- Lead and assist in complex interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and imaging quality.
- Operate and troubleshoot GE Innova imaging systems, maintaining consistently high technical standards.
- Support a high-volume clinical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety and sterile technique protocols at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Scrub in and assist with a variety of interventional procedures, including angiograms, line placements, kyphoplasty, and percutaneous nephrostomy exams.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GE Innova and related radiology imaging equipment.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, providing support as needed.
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility policies.
- Implement and uphold radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required by the department schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements
