Interventional Radiologist (IR) – Locum Tenens Summary
- Provide interventional and diagnostic radiology services in a hospital setting.
- Engage in a mix of interventional radiology (90%) and general radiology (10%) cases.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a trauma level I facility.
- Utilize leading radiology technology including Powerscribe 4.0 and RPCE Tech Stack.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including myelograms, arthrograms, venograms, joint aspirations, biopsies, steroid injections, fluoroscopic exams, and ESI injections.
- Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies with accuracy and timeliness.
- Meet a volume expectation of approximately 45 RVUs per shift.
- Participate in a call schedule, providing coverage as assigned (call starts Sunday at 5 pm and ends the following Sunday at 5 pm).
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care and procedural planning.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and workflow management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (or Board Eligibility within 5 years of training completion).
- Active, unrestricted state medical license (IN license required for assignment).
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures and hospital-based practice preferred.
- Strong proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Powerscribe 4.0 and RPCE Tech Stack.
- Ability to complete the credentialing process within 90 to 120 days.
