Palm Health Resources is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Radiologist (IR) for a full-time locum tenens assignment. The Interventional Radiologist (IR) – Locum Tenens role is designed for physicians comfortable with a variety of complex procedures, including high-acuity vascular and neuro interventional cases. Supported by experienced IR nurses, advanced-certified IR technologists, dedicated APPs, anesthesia, and backup from vascular, neuro, and surgical teams, you will be well-equipped to manage a diverse patient population. The facility features four IR suites—including a biplane suite and CT capabilities—catering to both routine and advanced interventions.
This assignment features a well-structured rotation: one week of primary call coverage, followed by a week of backup and outpatient procedures, and a third week off. The workflow ensures both variety and work-life balance, with the majority of procedures scheduled during daytime hours and call responsibilities primarily focused on weekends and after-hours during the designated call week. As a candidate for the Interventional Radiologist (IR) – Locum Tenens position, you must hold IR and Diagnostic Radiology (DR) privileges, possess or be eligible for a Kentucky medical license, and preferably hold an Ohio license. Experience with Epic EMR, Intellispace PACS, and Philips equipment is advantageous. Comprehensive credentialing support is provided, with an anticipated processing time of six to eight weeks. All malpractice coverage, housing, travel, rental car, or mileage accommodations are fully provided, allowing you to focus on your clinical responsibilities.
