Interventional Radiologist (IR) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert interventional radiology services, including diagnosis and image-guided treatments for a variety of patient needs
- Perform a high volume of cases, with an expectation of approximately 35 RVUs per shift
- Interpret and report on imaging studies in routine, stat, stroke, emergent, and urgent situations
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using advanced EMR systems
- Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to established protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices within the radiology department
- Contribute to a positive work environment, supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) is required
- Active medical license required
- Ability to complete credentialing within 60-90 days; temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
- Experience with advanced EMR systems, including PowerScribe 4.0 and RPCE Tech Stack, preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in managing a diverse caseload in a hospital or trauma setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
