Interventional Radiologists (IR) in this role are responsible for performing a wide array of minimally invasive procedures, interpreting diagnostic imaging, and providing comprehensive patient consultations, treatment planning, and ongoing management. The position requires expertise in procedures such as angiography, embolization, stent placements, ablation therapies, and vascular interventions, among others. Additional responsibilities include peer review participation, quality improvement activities, EMR documentation, and involvement in clinical committees as required.
The Interventional Radiologist (IR) position offers a highly competitive hourly rate for both onsite and on-call coverage. Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, an active and unrestricted US medical license, board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) with an Interventional Radiology subspecialty, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficiency with electronic medical records, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.
