A well-respected hospital system is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment through the end of the year. As an Interventional Radiologist (IR), you will be responsible for performing a wide range of general and specialized interventional radiology procedures. Your expertise will be valued as you deliver both inpatient and outpatient care through procedures such as venous access, biopsies, drainages, organ access, embolization, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, and hepato-biliary/portal interventions. The assignment includes daily IR coverage, call coverage, and CTA/MRA vascular interpretation.
The anticipated patient load is approximately 5-7 procedures per day, amounting to about 25 procedures or surgeries per week. Your role will include both scheduled daily coverage and call responsibilities, with a work schedule that includes weekday day shifts and overnight call, as well as weekend 24/7 call coverage as needed. This ensures continuous, high-quality care for patients requiring interventional radiology services.
