Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and adhering to best practice clinical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Interpret diagnostic images and provide expert consultation to referring physicians.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements.
- Participate in standard shifts or adapt to department-specific scheduling needs, including varying on-call responsibilities.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to efficient, consistent patient care delivery within an onsite clinical environment.
- Uphold all credentialing, licensing, and continuing education requirements relevant to the Interventional Radiologist (IR) specialty.
- Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license required; preference given to candidates with a clean malpractice and background history.
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) or related national certification mandatory.
- Completion of an accredited radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship as per national standards.
- Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology procedures and patient management in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Credentialing process may take up to 90 days, with expedited consideration for providers with a clean credentialing history.
