Interventional Cardiologist (MD, DO) – Southeast Alabama – Full-Time
Palm Health Resources is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist (MD, DO) to become a vital member of a highly regarded and expanding cardiovascular practice. This opportunity is based at a prominent 420-bed Level II trauma center, recognized regionally for its exemplary cardiovascular services and consistent national ranking in the top 10 percent for patient safety in heart attack management, interventional coronary care, and vascular procedures. The facility offers a collaborative environment where Interventional Cardiologists work closely with established teams in interventional, non-invasive, and structural heart care, ensuring comprehensive patient services and a supportive professional community.
Joining this practice as an Interventional Cardiologist (MD, DO) presents the unique chance to advance your clinical expertise within a robust cardiac program. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a cutting-edge Cath Lab with multiple reading rooms and a sophisticated cardiac rehabilitation program that integrates pulmonary function support. The hospital’s 56 ICU beds, featuring a specialized 14-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), provide optimal conditions for delivering advanced cardiac care and participating in progressive treatment protocols.
The role includes collaborating with a dedicated team, including an established Interventional Cardiologist and six experienced Nurse Practitioners. Interventional Cardiologists in this practice participate in a shared general cardiology call schedule alongside eight other skilled cardiologists, ensuring an effective work-life balance and comprehensive patient coverage. Clinic operations are structured from Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, supporting continuity of care and an efficient workflow for both patients and providers.
