International Program Support Specialist

The International Program Support Specialist position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of international projects and foundation partnerships. You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and operational support, maintaining CRM data integrity, and facilitating effective communication between senior regional leaders and foundation partners. Your ability to manage multiple priorities with precision, cultural sensitivity, and strategic vision will be critical to your success in this role.

In this capacity, you will help strengthen the fundraising and operational capabilities of international foundation partners by supporting assessments, drafting detailed reports, and co-creating growth plans. The International Program Support Specialist will also coordinate and manage logistics for international travel, onsite events, and workshops, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared. Additionally, you will support coaching, mentoring, and training programs in partnership with subject matter experts, contributing to the professional development of both internal staff and global partners.

Fluency in French or Portuguese is required for this position, as you will be engaging with diverse partners and stakeholders across different regions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you will be facilitating regular conversations, preparing reports, and occasionally leading meetings or workshops. The International Program Support Specialist should have a proven track record in supporting senior leadership or serving as a liaison in nonprofit, global development, or partnership-focused environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, is necessary, as is the ability to manage complex schedules, track project outcomes, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, cross-cultural setting. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to advancing the organization's mission are foundational for this role. Previous experience in fundraising, marketing, operations, or public relations will be considered a plus, as will familiarity with international nonprofit operations and donor engagement strategies.
