Internal Medicine Physician (MD, DO) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management of adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans using evidence-based internal medicine practices.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in a 1:16 call rotation, responding to patient inquiries via phone as needed.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice, ensuring compliance with all organizational policies and state regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine required.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
