Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive primary care and internal medicine services to a diverse patient population

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests as needed
- Diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions based on clinical findings and test results
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Prescribe appropriate pharmaceuticals, medications, and therapeutic regimens
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as necessary
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legible medical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to all federal and state health information privacy regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school in the United States
- Successful completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification in internal medicine or primary care
- Active and unrestricted state medical practitioner license
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration
- Demonstrated experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in prescribing medications, treatments, and health regimens for various health issues
- Strong collaboration skills with specialists and other healthcare professionals
