Manuli Internal Medicine, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician (Primary Care, MD/DO) to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis. As part of our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary medical care services to patients in collaboration with the primary healthcare team.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests as needed to inform patient care and diagnosis.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when specialized care or consultation is required.
- Analyze patient medical records, laboratory reports, test results, and physical examinations to accurately diagnose health conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and individualized treatment regimens to address documented medical conditions in accordance with best practices and current clinical guidelines.
- Ensure the complete, timely, and legible documentation of patient medical records following legal and organizational standards.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all federal and state health information privacy laws, including HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience providing primary care and diagnostic medical services in a clinical setting as an Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
- Proven ability to prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to address various patient health issues.
- Experience collaborating with other medical specialists to evaluate patient health conditions and formulate comprehensive care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships and effective teamwork within the healthcare environment.
Certifications and Licensure
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited United States medical school.
- Successful completion of a residency program at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Board certification in primary care, such as Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty.
- Current North Carolina Medical Practitioner License.
- Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) for prescription writing.
