Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary
- Permanent, full-time position in an established internal medicine practice
- Deliver primary care to adult patients (age 18+), with patient volumes averaging 14-18 per day
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Practice located in a vibrant community with access to cultural and outdoor amenities
- Flexible weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call shifts
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for adult primary care patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage chronic and acute conditions according to clinical best practices
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team meetings
- Provide care with autonomy, while also offering and receiving support from a team of experienced NP/PA colleagues

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensure required
- Active California license preferred, but not mandatory
- Experience in internal medicine or primary care preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
