Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) Position OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for adult patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with current clinical guidelines and legal requirements.
- Provide patient education and counseling to support disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Maryland, meeting all state law requirements.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- At least one year of experience in internal medicine or primary care settings.
- Current Maryland CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substance) and DEA licenses.
- Up-to-date continuing medical education credits and licensure as required by Maryland State Law.
