Software QA Tester Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software QA Tester to join our team on a remote, full-time basis. As a Software QA Tester, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our interactive software applications, including apps and websites. Based in New York City, NY, this position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic development team while contributing to the enhancement of digital platforms that serve a wide user base.
Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive testing scenarios for various interactive software applications to identify bugs, glitches, and areas for improvement.
- Document and report defects, user experience issues, and other findings in a clear and structured manner to facilitate resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to communicate feedback, clarify issues, and verify the resolution of identified problems.
- Ensure that all interactive software delivers a seamless, engaging, and high-quality user experience by adhering to industry best practices in software testing.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on testing activities, findings, and recommendations on a daily or weekly basis as required.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to follow structured testing instructions meticulously.
- Experience working with remote collaboration tools and an understanding of interactive software development processes.
- Prior experience in quality assurance (QA), user testing, or a related field is preferred and considered a strong asset for this Software QA Tester role.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device for conducting software tests remotely.
