Insurance Telemarketing Representative Job OverviewAs an Insurance Telemarketing Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting the marketing and client outreach efforts of a State Farm Agency. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, personable, and motivated to help connect potential clients with the agency's insurance specialists. Working as an Insurance Telemarketing Representative allows you to develop foundational skills in communication, lead generation, and customer relationship management within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate outbound calls to potential clients who have expressed interest in insurance products, providing an introduction to the agency and transferring qualified leads to agency Insurance Specialists.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing goals, consistently striving to meet or exceed daily and weekly targets.
- Develop and manage leads by scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and introducing appropriate insurance products and services.
- Uphold a strong work ethic and demonstrate a commitment to achieving success in all assigned duties.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes in accordance with agency procedures and compliance regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of insurance offerings, sales techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for all Insurance Telemarketing Representative candidates.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients over the phone.
- Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm, with a willingness to make a high volume of calls to prospective clients.
- Property and Casualty license, and Life and Health license must be obtained if not already held (training and assistance are provided).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting daily outreach and conversion goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
