As an Insurance Telemarketing Representative, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients who have expressed interest in insurance products. Responsibilities- Initiate outbound calls to individuals who have requested information about insurance products, ensuring a positive and professional first impression for the agency.
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to identify their insurance needs and introduce them to the agency’s offerings.
- Transfer qualified leads to experienced Agency Insurance Specialists for further consultation and policy discussion.
- Maintain a high call volume, typically between 50-100 calls per day, demonstrating persistence and energy throughout each interaction.
- Document all customer interactions accurately in the agency’s database to support follow-up and customer relationship management.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve individual and agency goals, contributing to a positive and goal-oriented work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with State Farm products, industry regulations, and best practices in telemarketing and client engagement.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Life and Health insurance license required, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and conduct engaging telephone conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and energy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and follow-up activities.
This Insurance Telemarketing Representative position is available as either full-time or part-time employment, offering flexibility to match your schedule. The agency operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional adjustments based on agency needs.
