Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients in the Washington, D.C. area to understand their insurance needs and offer appropriate product solutions.
- Educate prospective and current customers about State Farm’s insurance offerings, including auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies.
- Participate in community events and outreach activities to generate leads and increase awareness of State Farm products and services.
- Guide clients through the process of applying for and securing insurance coverage, ensuring a positive and informative customer experience.
- Support customers with policy reviews, claims assistance, and updates to their coverage as their needs evolve.
- Stay up to date on State Farm’s products, policies, and industry trends to effectively assist clients and provide accurate information.
- Uphold State Farm’s reputation for excellent customer service and ethical business practices in every interaction.
Qualifications
- No prior insurance experience required; comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build lasting relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn about insurance products and sales techniques.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Certifications
- Candidates will have the opportunity to earn a Property and Casualty license within 30 days through at-home study and training programs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Start earning an hourly rate while participating in community events and lead generation activities up to 30 hours per week.
- Eligibility for residual commissions and bonuses on auto, fire, life, and health insurance after obtaining the necessary license.
