Insurance Sales Representative Job OverviewDrew Edmond - State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the role of Insurance Sales Representative. This is a full-time position located in Lincoln, NE. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a key role in connecting clients with insurance and financial products that meet their needs, while having the opportunity to develop your career in the insurance industry. Our agency represents one of the top insurance providers in Nebraska, and we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate, even if you do not have prior insurance experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop insurance quotes tailored to clients’ needs, present sales proposals, and close sales to secure new business.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing ongoing support and following up to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Engage in networking to generate new sales opportunities and grow the agency’s client base.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service to all clients, ensuring a positive customer experience with every interaction.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to success in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative to achieve daily and long-term objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to offer additional products and services to both new and existing clients.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Must be able to obtain Life & Health insurance license.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred, but not required.
- Strong enthusiasm and belief in the value of insurance and financial products for individuals and families.
- Proven track record of ethical behavior, trustworthiness, and dependability.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Ability to initiate contacts, open doors, and secure appointments through proactive outreach and cold calling.
