Insurance Sales Representative - Summary
The Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, supporting existing clients, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. This role includes developing insurance quotes, presenting products and services, closing sales, and providing ongoing client support. Team members are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and customer service while consistently striving to exceed performance goals. Full training is provided, and licensing is required for long-term success in the position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate and develop insurance quotes for prospective and current clients.
- Present and explain insurance products and services to clients, addressing their individual needs and concerns.
- Effectively close sales and secure new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture client relationships through regular follow-up and outstanding service.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships to expand the agency’s client base.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly support to clients at all times.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a daily commitment to achieving both personal and agency goals.
- Identify and develop new financial service opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license (must be willing to complete licensing requirements).
- Ability to obtain a Life & Health insurance license (must be willing to complete licensing requirements).
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred, though not required.
- Demonstrated motivation and belief in the positive role of insurance and financial products in people’s lives.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Proven ability to initiate contact, build rapport, and secure appointments, including experience with cold calling or similar outreach.
